What type of fuel mileage do you think it will get?
I have been in the market for a different truck. Im currently driving a 1999 GMC jimmy. My parents had a great 2001 2500 Slt Ext cab, that had a 360 and the heavy duty/ plow package (dana 70 in the back and a dana 60 up front). I loved that truck but they got rid of it a few years ago
Now I just recently found something Im very interested in. Its a 2000, Ram 1500 ext cab 4X4. 360, auto. Now here is the nice part. Its got a 6'' Fabtec lift ( and the previous owner went all out on the lift) I believe 35''X 11 or 12'' Nitto mud grapplers, but could be 36''. With 4:10 gears. (dana 44 in the front and a dodge rear axle). It has 3'' dual exhaust (not off headers) and stock intake with no tuners. Any idea on gas mileage it would have?

Oh, I know its gunna go down. lol Seeing that I average 23 on the highway with the jimmy (4.3 V6 auto 2wd). Now I figured the 4:10's were not the right ratio for 35's. But the previous owner did alot of mods, including ARB air lockers. So maybe if he was smart he changed the ratio to 4:56. How much of a difference in performance and mileage would there be between the two?

Wow, very handsome truck! I always love the Dodge green...but honestly dude, if your that concered with fuel mileage, why would you consider getting a lifted Dodge Magnum V8? They sound and look BA...they are not fuel savers.
You will see 10 MPG at best probably. Maybe you could get 12 outta it with the right modifications...

Well anything is possible if you got some money to spent. But in all honestly if you want a big badass truck with excellent fuel economy, get a CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL! They get from 18 city to 24 hwy depending a several variables such as yr model, trans, 12 valve, 24 valve, and the new 6.7L
