Sand bags, dude, sand bags. (Or ShurTrax.) I thought everyone in Colorado knew this.

It's a shame about your truck.

I had an 85 Camaro I drove for 1 winter. I put a 2.8L engine block outta dads old S15 in the trunk for weight Beat the everlivin **** outta the interior panels back there though haha. And I still put it into a telephone pole while doing late night donuts in the middle of an empty intersection in a huge snowstorm hahaha oh how I miss the good ol days

When you could afford to destroy a car in a fit of silliness?

Nah, I get where you're coming from. I sometimes wonder how it is that I've not moved to the other side of the grass by now. And take care to stay on this side for as long as I can, and hope to suppress the go-fast idiot gene in my grandchildren. The oldest grandson is 14 and very interested in mechanical engineering... I can already feel the gray hair in my beard wanting to move to the top of my head.

Ohhh boy was that thing fast! lol I got it up to 125 and could never figure out where the govener stopped the thing out. But it was a 4X4 too, but it was too low to the ground, although we took up to places that we honeslty have no clue how..

And yea, it did go to Mopar heaven. I think we sold the sidesteps and the grille guard to some tow truck company for pretty cheap. Other than that we got all of what was ours out and the sirus sat radio.

Ohh, we do know of sand bags believe me. But, since we didnt really have any snow(where Im it, snow is like 3 feet in one storm which happens more than 2 times a month after november) so we didnt put any weight in the back.

Also, us Coloradoans can go 110 in a blizzard too, youre not the only ones but I really dont do that. Yea, I will pass people in a snow storm, but thats about it. Ohh! I will do donuts in the middle of the highway at 1 in the morning lol

For sure, I dont under stand why people haul *** in bad weather. Its a BAD idea.

Im also glad Im still here.

Alright, I couldnt multiqoute so it probably makes no sense lol

Yeah -- if it weren't bad things happening all around the Piceance Basin I'd still be between you and Steamboat Springs. Even down there on the flats I'd load up the bed in October and leave it until April, just in case. But then I'd hate to wreck my truck...

I make it a point to never stop to help anyone who's passed me in a blizzard unless I see blood.

Stupid driving deserves a good

What it does here, is that it cant get over the mountains, so it just dumps and dumps for a couple days. Then a week later, another monster storm. This usually happens until march. Sometimes starts in late november, but most of the time december.

Id agree with you with not pulling over. But when people are goin 5 and under when you can go 10, then.... Im passing. I know its probably safer to be goin that slow, but when you have a 4X4 you can push it a little bit. But when people are goin 20/25+ when you cant see more than your hood. Good luck buddy. I dont feel sorry for ya.
