My boys system in his 2nd Gen Neon.
[quote=Laramie1997;2228474]You my friend have obviously never heard of Howard Stern.... The one who made his wife orgasm on live radio??? Did with bass only. LOL
That wasn't his wife, it was a fan who called in.
I dont even understand why this thread is even here. It has nothing to do with Dodge Rams at all. Maybe a mod can move this into the Dodge Neon/Nobody Cares section.
Farmboy is just a 16 year old kid, take it easy on him. We were all 16 once and knew everything as well.

Bunch of incest over there in Illinois.
Subs in our trucks, sound different than in a car, see neons are made with a lot of cheap metal, and a lot of plastic. Are trucks are so insulated that you don't get that rattle from the trunk, like this one has, like i said once he gets dynamatt there will be no rattle.
They do sound different in our trucks, but that's all I'm going to give you.
You can mat the damn things and that will help, but a lot of it comes down to just where you place everything. Firing out like that has a certain "cool" factor, but that's all that it accomplishes. You do it that way and you just have a speaker making a little sound a moving a lot of air.
Turn that woofer around and make it fire into something solid, and your sound will improve ten fold.
Take our trucks... It's best to have the woofer firing directly into either the floor, rear wall, or the seats.
If you are as accomplished as you say you are, this would be common knowledge.
In fact, I kinda hinted at this in another thread, but what you seem to recommend to folks for speakers and equipment says a lot about you. It tells me that you do not know near what you think you do and once you convince a regular on this site to use low end products like you have shown off, you will lose any and all credibility on this site for a long time, if not forever.
I'm not "hatin" but note, that you aren't not talking like you know what you are doing and that alone should scare a lot of people.
