Eh...? Whats a rmp?
Oh... Now I get it.
You meant rpms... and yes that is possible. The SCT has given the truck a major boost in low end torque. Although it does sound like the lockup is occuring faster>? Perhaps thats part of the tune...quicker lockup offset by an increase of low end. I like that!

I'm happy to see someone with a good report on the SCT in a mildly modded truck. Perhaps I'll start hoarding my pennies for one.

hmmm, if it makes a difference. I was able to run 91 ictane with the 93 tune in my truck. Maybe that fitch fuel catalyst is the read deal when it claims you can use lower octane gas than the recommendations.

I only use 91 octane because I have to drive 25 miles for 93. Otherwise I would spend the extra 10 cents per gallon. It is only an extra 2.30 per tank!!! Not gonna burn a hole in the wallet.

I also run Lucas Fuel treatment at every fillup.

So maybe that with the fitch fuel catalyst is making me get the same results with 91 as 93. I have been switching tunes all the time and I don;t notice a difference. Maybe slightly, not nothing that makes you saw WOW. or even wow.

PM sent on where you can find him.

Also, I would think that the SCT has everything to do with the RPMs, because it changes the engine's timing.

ya i know as a fact rpms change,

CPTAFW163- lucus fuel treatment evrey fill up how long have you been doing that..

i tried 91 gas on 93 tune and it pinged,i just think i need a couple good tanks of gas to really get all that 87 out . so im using 91 tune right now and loving it.
