Youre missing the big NAPA Gold oil filter and a plenum change.

I only trust the Mopar filter personally...and its weird, but the truck isn't showing any signs of plenum blow out yet. No using oil, steady oil pressure, no vaccum leaks, or CEL. Nothing. Maybe we got lucky?

I don't know if I would trust the Mopar filter, I believe a few on here stated it was just a knock off cheapo Fram. Purolator or Napa is usually the best choice for the money.

As purpl said, check for the plenum leak when you have the throttle body off for cleaning.

Also, might want to consider purchasing some Bilstein shocks for it. They are great for a sport truck like that. They will drastically change the handling for the better. Not to mention they will last forever.

Exactly. Gonna check down the TB to be 100% it is still good. Have you personally used the Bilstein shocks? Sounds like a good shock, and I have no idea what are good shocks for the 2WD Rams...we def want to handle better if possible, and it will probably be one of up coming weekend projects we have planned for the future!

Does Mopar not make their own filter? Really thought it was a great filter....I witched from Purolater Gold to these MO-090 filters a few oil changes back on Betty. Oil always comes out looking like gold after 2000-2500 miles.

Does anyone here know the factory gear ratio on the SS/T's? This is driving me nuts trying to figure it out!

I am using Bilstein Shocks right now. Some of the best money I spent on my truck. They are by far the best handling mod I have done to my pickup, other than the Hellwig Rear Sway bar, and Energy Suspension sway bar bushings, along with it being lowered 2" all around.

They really give it a sports car feel. They ride really nice and plush, and then as soon as you brake, or corner hard they stiffen up immediately, almost eliminating body roll.

You do know that nobody makes anything by themselves anymore? The Mopar MO-90 filter is a Purolator Classic filter.

2000 mile oil changes? R U Serial?

Dead serial. I know it sounds retarded. But I am xtra **** about my oil being super clean. Plus I can get the mopar filter + 5 qt value pack of valvoline syn @ walmart for a total of $20. So why not right? And yes the build sheet was ordered on monday...so I should get it for Austin soon.

We will post pics on Saturday night when he gets home from private school and we get the fully detailed and waxed + full tune-up. So stay tuned...you guys will be seeing much more of the truck especially after he gets a login name!
