Just be happy it came with a power rack and pinion steering....lol
And that sucks it only came with 3.55's, whats a sport truck with regular gears, either way should spin them tires with ease
And come on 10k is not that bad lol...actually oil was pretty clean when I changed it too, my dad said to keep going till it got dirty but I get an oil/gas check every month from work so I used it to pay for the oil change, and I never lost any oil pressure, and the oil wasnt more than 6 months old

any price between the trade in value and third party value is good. Throw out 4500, but I would pay 5500-6000 for that truck if it were a perfect babied truck.
I paid 10K for my 2001 in Jan 2009. KBB was 14K retail at the time. It had 41,250 miles and it still had the extended warranty until march 2011. It cost me 50 dollars to switch it over in my name.
So I had no problem paying 10K. The owner was asking 11,500.
If you are paying only 15-20% over the trade in value of the truck, you did good. YOu can use that when talking to the guy. "Hey I am still offering better than the dealership would offer."
