Boys, I'm moving on to another gneration...
Well at least around here that's happening. I have a few friends that work at Ford dealerships and it's not insane number but a lot of the Ford Trucks they sell comeback within a week or two. Reason, people decided on they didn't like em. Also if you go to a dealership and look at the new trucks and see ones that are the same year with maybe a few hundred miles on it, those are more than likely returns.

a few hundred miles is all a person needs to figure out that the truck is carp, interior is cheap and no power ...Well at least RAM has a '60 day handshake'
I can't believe Dodge isn't #1 selling with the Motor trend award. and the new 1500 Hemis are really nice like to the one laramie got.
Not digging the Hemi orange. If I paint them, they will be red.
Sheriff, I appreciate the offer, but I have CS5 Master's, and can use it very well.
As for not getting a diesel, no purple, no color accenting....
Hemi Orange was never a color I liked. Sorry, but it's the truth.
I don't need to tow and haul like a **** all the time, so a diesel/2500 was not worth it. Besides, there's a 2004 F350, a 1994 F350, and we're looking at a couple of 2011 Dodge 3500's. Should I need to tow, I'm covered.
Dodge trucks aren't purple anymore. Sorry, but I'm not going to GM just for a color.
The new Ford 1/2s are simply not selling in my area. I see a few of them, but many times, it's an old timer farmer who has probably driven the brand his entire life. The big winner for the area right now is GM. You'll see much much more of the 2010-2011's GM trucks than you will of Dodge and Ford.

Your answer is in the very first part of the thread.
Truck definitely has some ***** to it. I'd driven one when we went to Ohio to drop the chally off...
Got in the truck to do a test drive and the sales man (chevy guy) started rattling off this and that and I just said," Shh". I got out on the free way, and jammed the auto-stick down into one and floored it. Squealed the tires for a good 100 foot and hit 90 before we were even off the entrance ramp. I'm a VERY happy camper.

Let's put it this way: When you turn traction control off (as much as it will allow at this point) and hammer on it, it will blow the tires off from 1st gear and still break traction when it hits 2nd gear.
I've had the opportunity to drive a buddies '09 Hemi 4x4 a few times. The ONLY thing I don't like about the truck AT ALL, is that the rear coils don't tow well, IMO.
After trailering a 7000+ load just 28 miles I felt a bit "worn out" from having to control the vehicle on the road. Didn't really have any trouble moving the load, but just kinda took a lot more concentration and effort on the drivers part to control the trailer if you know what I mean. Also there was a LOT more sag in the rear than my truck with the same load (even before I bagged mine).
I think to gain handling (the '09 handles WAY better in open cruising than my 3rd Gen) and being the trend for 1/2 tons to be more of a daily driver than they used to be, the trade-off was in hauling & towing.
If you are gonna tow with it, Chris, bag it...

Bags are high on the list of things to be done to it. I'm convinced at least. We towed that challenger for 1000 miles and I never once felt comfortable behind the wheel with it. Way too much sag.
That said, I didn't buy it to tow a lot or haul a lot. Outside of picking up little things here and there, the bed wont have much in it. It does have an appointment at the tint shop today at 3 to have the windows done though.
