Tug-o-war
hmmm..Naaa
1990 351= 210HP 315TQ
I think you'll pull him all around, and he'll be screaming...STOP!!!STOP!!!
318- 230HP 300TQ
I know mostly tq matters here..But come on 15 ft lbs ant' gonna help squat for him..
And with your truck weighing more and having a longer wb...You'll def win....
Plus dodge is just better.

What really matters here is how well you hook to the ground and what ratios your axels are running. You can have all the power in the world but if you cant hook; your just spinning tires
My experience so far has proved that a dodge SWB with a 360 wil pull a F-150 LWB and if pulled backward for about 5 foot the tranny in the ford will take a huge dump and thus need rebuilding. This will also cause young stupid kids to no boast that their truck will out pull anybody and kids parents to later inform him of how much of an idiot he is.
You're both less than sharp, and I hope you record it so I can laugh at the both of you breaking stuff.
Gotta agree. The EEC-IV Windsor is a pretty good runnin' engine.
As far as the big 3's light truck engine options in the '70s through the '90s, they compare like so:
Chevy: 305
Dodge: 318
Ford: 302
Chevy: 350
Dodge: 360
Ford: 351W
The Windsor, with it's multi-point FI, ran better than the throttle bodied 350 Chevy and 360 Mopar. It wasn't until the '94 Magnum 360 and '95 Vortec 350 that GM and Chrysler got ahead in the power game. And stayed ahead. Those Triton motors are junk; Even the new 3 valve 5.4 can't keep up with the pushrod 5.7 Hemi and 6.0 Vortec. Ford should have bought Nissan's 5.6l four cam engine. Those things run.
Also agree with that.
I always loved bettin people that my 44 year old, 134 HP 6-cylinder Jeep will pull their Power stroke, Duramax or Cummins around. Everyone always got religion when they found out I wan't talking about a little CJ or J-series, though.
