Tug-o-war
imma kinda curious. my buddy has got a big head because he just bought a 90 fullsize bronco with the 351 and 6 inch lift and 35x12.50 all terrains. im about to lift my truck another 3 inches and put treadwright 315-75-r16 guard dogs on it. he keeps sayin that he will pull me backwards in a tug of war. in dirt of course pavement ya break too many things. What is yalls opinion on this ford vs mopar thing we got goin
Won't argue there. And if I'm not mistaken, that Bronco probably has the E40D trans. Which, personally, I don't think is worth the price of the metal it's made of in those early years. But then again, I had the AOD in all of mine so I'm a little biased.
yeah its got the pos e40d. and its funny because he doesn't even have 4x4. his hubs are ****ed up and he is still wanting to try it haha typical ford owner

You would get him, put your truck in 4 lo, and dont lead foot it, you should pull him no problem. It sounds like he is a little to confident and will mash the gas. Its a gurenteed win if you do it right. Plus you should have more wieght then him!
I fear for the 46RE with 100k on it. But if it'll hold and you do it right, I think you'll drag his Bonko around. Try gently setting your e-brake for just a tad of drag, and be judicious with the accelerator so you don't lose traction. Once he's moving backward without solid traction, be a bit more generous with the throttle because his shorter wheelbase will work against him as soon as it starts hobby-horsing.
If a miracle happens and he starts to drag you backward, modulate the brake pedal gently with your left foot while the right keeps the throttle steady. That'll transfer some weight to your rear axle and arrest any wheel slippage while hopefully causing him to lose traction at the same time.
Be careful that the link between your trucks is damped with blankets or something so breakage won't send it flying at any skulls. Fun is fun but death ends it.
Video would be awesome.

Its hard to say really, just make sure that he doesnt connect way above were you connect mabye even add a little weight to the bed and make sure you dont slam on the gas, if anything just hold the brake in the beginning and let him dig a little hole then slowly get into while letting off brake
