Default 98 1500 360ci, replacing oil pan

Anyone know if I can climb under my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, 360ci. Drop the oil pan and replace the gasket with new pan without having to jack motor or any other difficulties??? The pan is very rusty, looks like it's leaking so, I want to change it out before I start pushing snow. Just don't want a major problem when I get into this job. I HATE bad surprises when I am under a vehicle. Anyone know?? Thanks.

You may have to snake it in there but shouldn't have any major diffuclties putting it in. Make sure you torque to bolts correctly when installing the pan w/ new gasket. and check the oil pump and screen while your in there. Make sure it not clogged/dirty or might as well go ahead and replace while your their.

Default Appreciate your help

Thanks guys for your advice. I was going to tackle it but this Forum has been so helpful with other repairs, I had to throw it out there. Thanks again, I will let you know how I made out once it is done.
