Default Got new tires today! PIC's View!

265/75/16 Good year authority m/t
Got a set for $865.99 with free rotations when ever.
They are really quite tires, I was going 75 an I could barely hear the rumble...

Here are the pictures:

Tell me what ya'll think. Has anyone ever had these tires on their trucks? From what i heard they clean mud out of the grooves really good, and have a nice side bite etc... What do ya'll think of these tires?

Well if I am being honest...goodyear makes crap tires for trucks...although I'm sure are way better tires than whatever you had on before atleast since they're new...

I've seen and heard bad stories with the wrangler a/t tires, hopefully the m/t tires will do good for ya. Let us know how they handle in off-road/mudding situation!

BTW where did you buy 'em? That price seems really steep even with LT rotations and a warranty

Wally world, they came with free tire rotation an I gave the guy who installed them a tip of 65 dollars so they were actually 800.99 not bad tires at all. I went threw a few deep creek crossings with some mucky mud, an went into one of our empty fields. They work great, but i am waiting for some rain to come in an make some more mud. I am just dieing to go muddin right now haha.

Yeah, I have heard some bad stories about the wranglers. But all the other things I have heard about the Authorities is that they are great tires, an they have some huge 2 inch lugs man they are just beefy! It felt as if my truck sat a little taller too. But the Authorities I have heard positive stuff from friends an my father who uses them on a lot of are farm trucks here. Just great overall M/t tires. They grip, an have some good side biters. Nothing over the top, but a decent mud tire if you ask me.

good luck with those tires. but as bigslick said that price is wicked steep. those tires around here in NH they are installed with a lifetime balance/rotation for lt265/75/16 is 728.00 goodluck getting them anywhere but walmart. theyre a walmart exclusive tire goodyear makes them for walmart. i also highly doubt you tipped a walmart employee, because it is against walmart policy for an employee to accept a tip, and if you did you just cost him his job. good job! but all in all nice tires, let us all know how you like them once you get a few hundred miles on them.

He gave you Wrangler Authority A/T tires...you tip him 65 bucks, and he tells you they are mud-terrain tires?

Dang.....well the joke's on you. Go get your money back!
