Red face Well you thought and hoped I was gone didn't you???

Its fine I know yall did wish I was gone. Found another forum that I have been on and been working 2 jobs got smashed with some bills. Trucks still fine a few new dings and dent tree branch markers. Getting ready for plow season been on the snow plowing forum mostly.

BUT I have some good new I'm going to fix my front bumper!!!! Only took me 2 years to find another bumper in ok shape. Now I just need to add some pain in a few spots and ill will be fine for another 4 years before I try to sell it.

I still have my job at the rehab hospital and I picked up some VERY good side work with my friend who went into business for him self. Its landscape work mostly mowing mulching weeding and some tree work. I turned him on to tree work a few weeks ago and well he loves its. Its bring in good money. We rent mostly everything rather than buy it. Its just to costly and tree work is too few and far between to make payments on the equiment. Now for some pics shall we?

How much does a chipper like that cost to rent?
My little chipper can't handle anything over about 2 1/2" and that thing is older than I am.

Umm i think it was 175 bucks. That chipper was smaller than the one we normal get. That one was a bandit 90 we get the much bigger bandit 250. The 250 has a much bigger feed table on it. The 90 was a pain in the *** trying to chip hole trees at there house. It's a pintel ring for towing either chipper. We put 4 hrs on the 90 and burned 8 gallons of gas.

Yeah, tree work is FUN! I work with a friend that does it proffessionally on occasion.... I don't do climbing, or any bucket work there. I want to keep my feet firmly on the ground, thankyouverymuch....... Did a bit of climbing a while back, but, due to health issues, that just isn't a good idea for me.

You can get used chippers for a reasonable price, and avoid the cost of renting..... we had an older model chuck and duck... (no self feeder) powered by.... an industrial 318 V-8. That thing would eat anything you could stick in there. (14".....) We picked it up for 1000 bucks..... New, they run north of 20 grand..... NOT cheap.

I enjoyed doing the ground work though. Even managed a couple flying lessons.
