Default Good runs at the track with Indy 500

It was the last test n tune of the season so i had to make some good passes!
Got it to hook up nice 3 of 4 passes and ran consistent. Just happened to meet a guy with an 03 Viper srt10 I saw at the Mopar Nats and raced with him ...small world right? And def no probs with the belt since i fixed that idler pulley...it runs great, just gotta be careful to feather the throttle at the start or i will spin in to second...

It suck cuz i can't build boost at the line or i will blow the tires off into second...really needs a set of slicks to get into high 12's i think...

1000 12.301 11.377
1/4 14.639 13.655

These were my best best passes of the night..along with another 13.778 @ 97.17 and a 15.11 @ 95.48 bolwing the tires into second..so my initial guess was very close it what it running last night

Congrats on the solid 13 pass & being close to your estimated et.
What conditions did you have for this?
Temps, baro & wind speed/direction?

Believe me i would love too! But it can be difficult to get my buddies to come down to the track on a Friday night sometimes! I went by myself on those passes...

Thanks for the comps guys!
Conditions were ideal that night...it was around 65 degress...light wind...i was actually headed into the head winds all night on my passes...

So Blair...what can i do now to get into the 100MPH and maybe under a 13.50? (without slicks) Our setups are very similair so I can always use your truck as a reference! Do you think slicks would make the big difference here? Maybe shave off a half-second or so? Also, I am still running with the CEL on....I can't build boost at the line without spinning the tires into second...What RPM are you launching at?

BTW i did fix the dash problem...ordered a carpeted cover from genos garage and extending the wiring around the carpet and mounted the monster tach at the corner or the dash by the pillar...much better!

I am doing one more night at the track this Friday! Turns out this week is the last test n tune...hoping to break that 100mph barrier...

I'm not sure what tuner it has...although i'm sure that it has been programmed...no rev limiter, governor, ect...

No tune-up thus far...just haven't seen a reason why I should do this yet...just a basic oil change and filter....the plugs and wires look good though...
The manifold I believe it to be an Edelbrock RPM 2 brl intake manifold....
It has 4.10 posi trac rear end

Thinking about that SCT...but really the more I think about it... the more I realize that truck needs to go...soon. I don't have a good place to store it...and won't be driving it much thru the winter...and I really don't NEED it...

So I am just enjoying every moment I can with my foot in the throttle while it lasts
