Upgrades
I just bought me a 1998 dodge ram around a month ago
Its a swb 5.9l 2wd all stock when i got it
Done a few things to it already
shorty headers
true dual 3in 44 series flows with 4in echo tips.
Looking at upgrading a few more things and i need opinions.
Im looking to gain more mpg as this is my daily driver.
looking for some more power as well.
Im looking at a new inductions.
Should i go cai or 14x3.
if cai. k&n? or should i just got offbrand unit with a k&n filter?
What would be the pro's and con's?
when i do my induction i will get a tb spacer as well.
Then i need some ideas on a tuner.
ive heard lots and lots between sct and sc.
Which one will benefit me the most in your personal opinion?

throttle body spacers work on carbs and throttle body injection setup motors to help atomize the fuel, doesnt work on a motor that has injectors for each cylinder like our magnum motors do.
I would reccomend an sct tuner from hemifever, he is the cheapest around and does very good setup with the tunes, also on your 98 your torque management will be deleted which helps alot

I would also say CAI versus 14x3, and a cheaper one will do, dont think you will need a k&n filter either, but if thats what you want you can get one
