Center Console build pics
Not only do I agree with this, but I demand the following:
Plans with all dimensions
A Materials List
Step By Step Instructions
Seriously, that is the coolest and best looking home made center console I have seen for a vehicle. Since I have no need for the center section of the seat in my Laramie, I would have no qualms removing it and replacing it with that console.

Thank you very much! I'll see what I can do on the dimensions and instructions. Basically, all I did was make the console 1" narrower, and 3" longer than the factory console. The height is the same. I took a ton of measurements and built it out of card board first. It is very simple once you get the center seat out, you can pretty much make any variation of it that you wish.

Ideas are already cooking in my head
redneckrocket- Thanks man! I saw your console and loved it! I considered putting my sub in my console but I didn't want my soda to go flat buzzing around in my cup holders
VWandDodge- Get to it man, it's a fun project.

Great center console! I have been trying to find time to build mine own...just has not happened...now that i have seen yours, i feel more motivated to get to it as soon as i find the time to make one!
just curious...since your is 2wheel drive, why not make a console that takes up all that floor space in front and extend it to the dash? mine is 4wd and I plan on doing this, just have to make sure i leave enough room to shift all the way through 4 wheel low.
PROPS DUDE!

Thanks Matt, the reason I didn't extend it all the way down the transmission tunnel is for a couple reasons. 1. I wanted to keep it simple, 2. that would have been a little more complicated to make it follow the contours of the bottom part of the dash, and 3. I wanted to keep that floor space for a cooler on long trips, and other things. Not to mention I plan on buying some new carpet in the near future and I wanted something that is easily removable like the center seat.
