Default Center Console build pics

Last Sunday I started getting the itch to build a simple center console, so I went to Home Depot, got a few things, and went through with it. It took me about a week to do with college and work, but it could easily be done in a weekend. The basic idea was to build something that would replace the center seat, be more comfortable, and provide more storage (basically a toolbox for inside the truck).

Thank you very much, it bolts right down on to the brackets where the middle seat is secured.

Yes indeed. VERY nice. If I didn't need seating for six...... I would do up something like that as well.

Where did you get the material for the middle seat from? I mean like did you use vinyl or what?

It is black synthetic leather (vinyl) but it really feels like leather. I got it for 3 dollars a yard at Walmart, and I got 2 yards of it.

And thanks HeyYou, completley understand the 6 passenger ordeal. Although I have a regular cab and I rarely even have a passenger let alone 3 people packed in there! haha.
