Default Which is positive and negative teminal on rockford sub?

Just bought a used rockford sub, I have never done this before so i stupidly unscrewed the terminals with the colors on them, and didnt pay attention to which one went where. Looking at the sub from the back, which side should be black and which red? here is a reference picture

Thanks, i am freaking out because of how stupid i was.

I don't know the answer, but, did you try Rockford website? Maybe they have a good pic in an installation download or something, for your model speakers.

Is there not a small imprint of a - and + on the basket or somewhere close? A lot of times they will have it marked somewheres....

OR, you could hook it up and crank it.... If the sub pounds outwards, you have it right. If it pulls inward, it's reversed...

You would think it would be marked somewhere, but it is not. I can't hook it up yet because I just ordered a headunit from crutchfield, and it is not here yet. I am waiting for everything to get here till i set it up.

So nothing bad will happen if it is momentarily hooked up backwards? I just don't want to mess this up out of trial and error.
