I'm happy with the Superchips. Most folks hereabouts sing high praises of the SCT tuned by hemifever, and I'd probably go that route if I were starting from scratch. What made the buy decision for me was the speedometer calibration -- that doesn't work on my truck anyway. But I'm still happy enough with it that I don't feel a need to replace it.

what do you mean by starting from scratch? why doesnt the speedo work on your truck? how much did it cost you? what model did you get? the reason i would get one would be so i can make my engine run better and faster and be able to run diagnostics as well.

I meant that if I were starting out with no tuner at all and with the knowledge that tire size calibration wouldn't work on my truck, I'd buy SCT rather than Superchips.

The speedo works, it's just reading low because of the slightly oversized tires.

I paid $339.99 for the Superchips 3865. Which, by the way, will read and reset codes but doesn't have the ability to do anything I'd call running diagnostics.

Hope this helps!
