Thinking big block 383 for my 98 ram

How 'bout you find the '69 Super Bee that 383 went in, re-build it and the car, and have a sweet old car.

Funny thing is, the OP's truck probably is lacking power, because the "plenum " is blown...and the cat is getting clogged

Lacking power was standard equipment from the factory for all 2nd Gen Dodge trucks.

ya options for a nice tranny and good gearing too to make these trucks fly out of the factory hehe :P

Super Bee, ahhhh, Ill 3rd purples idea!
Last time at my trans buddy shop, they had a fully restored pale yellow superbee with a 500 wedge, it was a wet dream. Took a few pics of it & in one a real bumble bee had landed on it by the little bee decal lol

i like the idea but you might run into a few problems. i think the transfer cases and axles change a lot. i think the output for the front axle is opposite to your trucks current front axle. if you pull the 318 and have the 383 it wouldn't hurt to try fitting it in and seeing if mounts line up or not.
