what do you need the topper for?
I do a lot of weekend trips with friends in the winter up north, and its more convenient to just throw the bags in the back and not worry about them, and with a locking door, i don't have to worry about leaving stuff in the back in a college town

Craigslist is a good place to find random Ram parts. I find myself always wandering onto craiglist and around the state for random parts.

Sold on craigslist:
Ext Cab Running Boards w/ mounting brackets (~$45, can still see them in my outdated sig pic)
Std Cab Nerf Bars w/o mounting brackets (~$10 b/c I just wanted them gone)

Bought on craigslist:
Short Bed Lakeland Fiberglass cover (a steal for $70)
A push bumper (needs some work still but for $65 it was another steal)

by me thats a steal for a cap like that. those aluminium ones go for that here. and the only dodge caps ive found for under $300 where missing the back glass and those were between 200-250 which sucks cuase i wanted a color matched one or at least something fiberglass.
this is what i got it came with the truck so its whatever

Thats by far one of the nicest looking aluminum ones I've seen. And it came with it, can't beat free.

exactly, i do like the fact that the side windows open up makes it much easier to get at all my gear. i did clean it up a bit though something feel on it before i bought it so i took it off and popped the dents out and silconed some parts so its close to water tight.
