The chrome mirrors were also changed to black plastic in 98

Yep, for sure. A controlled slide can be pretty fun, but it's definitely not drifting. That's why I use quotations around the word.

the only time i can drift my ram is during winter here in montana lol. (well and on the gravel road i live on).

my friend i grew up in MI and a 2wd will do ya just fine. plus then you have an exuse for why you cant drive strait in snow.

The truck in question here is a 97 club cab...2 door...

It was prolly a late run 97, so the owner thought it was a 98...my 98 is a late run, so one could think its a 99, but its not.
Same situation with this truck.

Looks good, only a test drive and plenum inspection will tell.

I'm a little late gettin to this thread, and the author deleted the craigslist page, so i can't help much there. But, I'm also from michigan and on craigslist everyday, I can keep an eye out for a good deal, I got this truck from grand rapids craigslist
