The worse part of the cash for clunkers was that it didn't even help out anyone because all the vehicles went straight to the scrap yard and after a month the crusher got them. There was a show on it that over 1 million dollars of perfectly good parts were crushed just because the vehicle had bad gas mileage what a freaking joke.

it is sort of funny how they say they get bad gas mileage yet the newest models only get a couple mile per gallon better.

A guy I worked with had like a 92 GMC reg cab long box you could pick up the rear end even with a full tank of gas he averaged 43 MPG it was amazing I dont see a single truck that gets anywhere near that.

That was just heartbreaking. I went outside just now and hugged my truck and told her that I would never trade her away

Purpl, just so you know, theres a double negative in your little disclaimer on your sig. It presents a possible loophole if a lawyer ever gets ahold of it. Shall not hold no legal binding should be Shall hold no legal binding. Just a heads up that might save you some trouble in the future.

I paid way too much attention in English

Since we were on the topic of taking JDs and VWs to the junkyard, maybe Gary should take this to meet the scrapper?
