Im looking into getting a throttle body and intake I read some of the reviews on jcwhitney but nothing really helped. Is there any one who has did the throttle body or an intake that helped the mpg im just trying to find something good to bring the mpg up even if its like 2mpg any help would be great

 

Throttle body is nice..if you have other mods. My 52mm is nice. I did notice some improved throttle response but not much and it didn't help with gas mileage. Maybe someone with both could weigh in on this. I think you could have put this in the regular section btw.

 

Fix your plenum and get a 14x3 air cleaner, if you want an better throttle body, get one from the guy who sells ported ones on eBay.

And on a side note...How in the hell does JC Whitney stay in business? Last time I got one of their catalogs it had the same crap in it that they had in a 2002 catalog I found.

 

Think that's bad Purpl? Last time I looked, they had the same crap they had back in 75........
