Just figured my mpg a week ago. 12.6 mpg over the snow and ice, so that includes some tire-spinning and fish-tailing around. Have a heavy set of treadwright A/T's, edelbrock pro-flo intake, and flowmaster 40 series muffler. The rest is stock. Was getting 14 or so, before I put the heavy a$$ tires on though
I currently have sitting in my shed, rdy to be installed....hughes plenum plate, plenum and intake gaskets, new manifold bolts, valve cover gaskets, so hope to bump up that mpg a bit.
I get about 13.4 in winter on mostly highway, often times snow and ice covered. I get great milage in town because I walk everywhere or drive a company vehicle and don't pay for the Diesel
have 265/16 tires, 3.55 gears, 52 mm TB and SCT tuned for economy
When i first bought it last Jan. i would guess it was getting 8-10 max MPG stock. Since then ive replaced the timing chain(that was a HUGE saver) k&n box filter, switch to synthetic oil, upgraded plugs, cleaning the TB, and lighter right foot gets me somewhere 12-14 now.
I'm getting 10 in the city w/ a heavy foot. If you do an aftermarket exhaust system keep it quiet cuz I do way more quick accelerations due to the sound.
