had any hits on your truck yet, and the ford diesels are pretty nice just have a few known problems, and the cummins are to damn expensive unless you can find someone who has one they cant fix, there was one down here that was so nice, only wanted 2800, IIRC it needed a lift pump and they guy couldnt afford to get one installed it lasted 2 weeks before getting sold

You talking about that vp44 deal? I've heard of those going out a lot on the cummins motors.

Pretty sure it was, I remember looking it up and was like $1500 or so to fix it, I almost convinced my parents on it, because it was right after my truck was hit and was gonna have the extra money

VP44 issue has to do with the lift pump. When the lift pump goes out the VP44 pump overheats and goes the way of the Edsel. A lift pump from FAST that is better is around $400 I think.

I knew you were gonna have to buy a new truck right after you bought that plow. That big of a plow on a 1/2 ton is just too much.

^ Its not so much the plowing... I need new axle shafts in the front... rear main is leaking... needs tires and inspection... breaks all the way around pads and rotors... power steering pump has been leaking for a while now. I'm just getting out of this truck before it eats all of my money.
