Well guy's I might be leaving....
The fast pump is actually a F.A.S.S. electric lift pump and Airdog is a way better choice. And a VP44 24valve cummins will last you way way way longer than any ford ever built. But if you want/need/ have SPS a 7.3 ford will be a good second choice. Also remember the bigger the truck the more you will pay for parts. Oh and the auto trans suck on both the ford and dodge. get a 5 or 6 speed handshaker.
Go to Jeff D Ambrosio's or David Dodge they'll give you deals you can't turn down if you want dodge. My dad has bought two from Jeff and one from Dave and I fight him on it every time. I always tell him to price out a truck at Fred Beans but they always are more pricier. However if your looking for new heavy duty trucks, I would go with Chevy Duramax engine with the allison trans. But if your buying used go with cummins. I see more cummins trucks with 300,000+ miles than powerstrokes
