last week I blew my trans on my 01 dodge 1500 4X4,not so much as blew it as burned up reverse band and drum fo the 3rd time of plowing this winter,soI did the swap.i used the petals and all out of a 98 15004X4. truck runs very well the only problem is if i ground the neutral safty switch,so i can start the truck and leave it grounded i stall on down shift.and if i dont ground out the switch after startup truck dont stall but seems to have less power???any one have an answer.also the check engine lights are on.i tried to use the computer out of the 98 but i have no dash gages or speedo? i am in need of some help i am thinking to have the ecu reflashed.
