Default Omg!!!!! I am the biggest f!@#$%^& idiot

So as smart as I am I decided that after an absolutly seamless and quick (4hrs ish) Plenum Repair on my 97 Ram, that i was going to help the metal fuel line into the plastic fuel rail by using the end of a screwdriver for some light tapping...

BROKE THE FREAKING FUEL RAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than that the fix went well, lots of oil on the inside of the intake, lining the walls in a wavy pattern.

So other than the fact that i am a complete and total moron, I have to take the day off work tomorrow, bum a ride of my little brother, out of town about an hour to go and pick up a used fuel rail. 200.00 Oh yeah, thats if they have one

$200 for a used fuel rail? I guess the thread title is right! Hope you get it fixed. The fuel rails rust out and I could see how you can break if it is rusty enough. But how did you break it, show us a picture.

Yeah? I had thought it was metal, thats why I was tapping the bracket for the fuel line. The square thing with the blue o ring in it.

I have never seen one like that in all the trucks I have looked at in junkyards. Interesting.

Maybe its a Canadian thing. To the Possum Van!
