If you aren't in too much of a hurry, I have a plastic fuel rail from a 97 manifold that I am not going to use sitting out in the garage. PM me if you want it. MUCH cheaper than 200 bucks......

I really appreciate the offer, but it is kinda urgent. I did manage to find on here in town in good old Vancouver, still 200 bones, but it is a plastic one. Also talked to the guy at the wrecker and his computer showed that the 97 fuel rails are specific to that year because they are all plastic. Wonder why they only did plastic for one year and then went back to metal?

I have never seen one like that in all the trucks I have looked at in junkyards. Interesting.

Maybe its a Canadian thing. To the Possum Van!

No I dont. I guess you have never seen the Red Green show that is filmed in Canada.

I'd like to get my hands on a plastic fuel rail, seeing as my metal fuel line is getting a little rusty.

ussually the fuel rails are 200 bucks WITH THE INJECTORS!! Tell him you don't need the injectors. I think he is trying to screw you. Because the junkyards price the fuel rail and injectors as a unit. They never sell just the rail.

I got a fuel rail from EBAY for 20 dollars without the injectors.

At least get the injectors when you get it.
