Hey if i went to far by posting links to other sites where he had posted other lies, well then i apologize to the forum. I didnt think it went too far, especially when there were mods in on the bash. I felt the guy deserved what he got, he took us and the forum for fools.

I dont think it matters if mods are in it or not, they dont have a higher standard, no rules that I know of were clearly broken, bended maybe but thats why most forums have them mods and admins.....and hey you know its a good thread when another is formed in remembrance

I missed the last few hours of the thread's lifespan so I might have missed something important, but all of the "links and information" I saw consisted of information that was already public and apparently intentionally made public by FarmBoy428 himself. I don't see how looking at or even calling attention to things that people willfully expose can be considered objectionable.

The boy knew he was lying and should have known that he was risking confrontation, exposure, and ridicule should he be caught at it because those are the most common responses of those who discover they're being deceived. He'd been caught lying in this forum on more than one occasion, knew he'd been caught lying on those previous occasions, and elected to try again. He got caught again, and was confronted, exposed, and ridiculed -- that's peer pressure, not bullying or harassment. Maybe he'll take this potentially painful lesson as an opportunity to rethink his life and adopt a way of being with integrity.

FarmBoy428: Life is much easier if you conduct yourself with integrity. You were accepted here not because we thought you were driving a cool truck, were an audio expert, came from a wealthy family, or had a cute girlfriend, but because you have an affinity for Dodge Ram trucks just like we do. You didn't have to risk the bald-faced lies. The only guy on Earth who was ever accused of perfection got nailed to a cross, ya know? It's a lot easier to be your own imperfect self than to hold up an image that is sure to get you crucified. Think on that a bit, huh?

Regardless of what was going on for public information, there was quite a bit of bashing happening. Making fun of the kid for his lies/fraud is one thing, starting to straight out insult him over other things crosses the line, especially some of the ways that were starting to surface towards the end of that thread. Thats why the thread disappeared.

This makes me think back to Night Under Fire in Norwalk Ohio (A hell of a drag race) I was stumbling out to my truck when a few guys started fighting. A older guy yelled " If we cant get along get a bong"! Not saying I do drugs just made me chuckle and seems like we need to lighten the mood around here!

I completely agree with everything said here... I still cant believe I fell for his lie yet again. But he deserved all the bashing and the google searching of his ****. Theres nothing wrong with it you ask me. Like what unreg said, if its out in the public already whats the problem. Ya you could say people went too far, but come on! Its not like it was insulting or bad, IMO. Plus its a forum, isnt bashing apart of being a forum? Cuz I will admit, I pulled a farmboy(kind of but nowhere near as bad as him, **** haha) 6 years ago cuz I was so into that gay *** import tuner **** that I lied about having a pretty sick little honda or acura. I got caught, cuz I had no clue wtf I was talking about and of course lied about "my car". haha!

Anyways, I think that, that thread shouldnt have been taken down. Where are we gonna get laughs on this forum now?!
