anyone notice a barrel of oil is under a benji?

I hate this game.. they jack prices instantly under the guise 'we have to be able to replace what we sell, and the price just went up there, so it does here too'.. but when it comes down, the excuse is 'well, the oil in the pipeline cost more than what is coming out now, so we have to extend that price to you too'..

one way or the other guys.. not both.. who is watching you guys anyway? Oh yeah, politicians who are getting rich from lobbyist, that's who.. So, we get screwed coming and going..

just wait till the drought in Texas and the rising Missisippi, start to factor in..
Then when Baton Rouge starts to flood and Exxon Mobil plants are (using finger quotes here) affected, then all hell will break loose.
When thats all over Hurricane season will be starting up. WOO HOO

Well, the gubermint finally stood up and took notice, and figgered out they need to 'reign in' the oil companies, and their huge profits, and try and lower the price at the pump. The oil companies responded to that with "We will just move to a location that is better suited to our purposes." Which roughly translates to: "If you try and regulate us, we will move our corporate headquarters out of the country, where we can do whatever we want, and the government is easier to buy off."

$4.18 in Dutchess County NY. The prices are ridiculous and there is no reason other then greed for them to be this high. Like others have said the price on a barrel went down but the price is still stay up? When the price per barrel goes up the price at the pump goes up immediately. Thanks to the Government for sticking it to us..

Actually, in this case, the government has very little to do with it. (which may be part of the problem?) Its the Oil companies that are giving us the shaft here. You can bet they are going to post yet another round of record breaking profits as well.
