My New Tires!!!!!

Looks good, good luck with the new rubber. If you ever decide you want to go back to a mud tire (though I think those look like mud tires to me), i'd recommend the Toyo Open Country M/T. They are an amazing tire IMO. If they hadn't been on a nationwide backorder at the time I needed new tires, id have another set of them. But had to settle for the GY Duratracs. So far so good with them, but I only have 5k miles on them and haven't tried every condition that I had the Toyo's in.

If these are a mud tire they do not ride like one. I mean they are soo quiet! I was goin 70 on the highway and I mean you could hear em whining a little bit but no where near my last ones. I dont know, I think its a cross between a Mud and a All terrain.. aka Mud Grapplers and Terra Grapplers according to Nitto I think.
Thanks man! Theyre a great lookin tire, and fit my truck. Ya, I had to convince my dad to let me get em. haha and everyone I told about the price were like "why are you spending that much on tires?" Because I want a good off road tire!! haha

Did you notice any power difference going to the trail grappler? I know they are a heavy tire at 71lbs compared to the Duratrac in a 285/70R17 witch weighs 54lbs. I like the size of the 295s but not sure if the weight will be very noticeable. I've came down to those two tires in those sizes. Any input would be great! Nice ORE by the way!

I haven't run them, but I've heard good things about them, much much better than the Nitto Mud Grapplers. I've heard that they're the "in-between" tire for the Terra Grapplers and Mud Grapplers. As for what you asked, yes they will be heavier but you'll be fine with your 4.10s. Just don't expect it to ride the same as it was with A/Ts.

I'm not so worried about the ride, it's a truck you know? I'm more worried about the weight. I tow a 6000-7000lb trailer from time to time and haul 1000-2000lbs in the bed occasionally and don't want any loss in power. Also don't wanna lose the get-up-and-go she has off the line. Seeing as how my current tire weighs 55lbs new, and these 71lbs, that's a big jump up. I was also looking at the Duratracs, the 285 weighs 54lbs and the 315 weighs 60lbs.
