swapping in a nv3500 for my 46re
I am looking for people who have done this swap.
Currently the transmission is in the truck the splines on both trans is the same and bolts right up to the transfer case. the nv3500 is about 1/2 inch shorter so there are no drive shaft issues. mechanicaly this swap has been an absolute breeze.
as i get into the wiring i would like to know from those who have done this swap. what changes have to be made to wiring to run the auto pcm. May change this all later but right now just need it to be streetable codes do not bother me let it throw em. i have bought the manual trans crankshaft position sensor but have not confirmed if plugs are the same.
