Default For all who hasnt done it

ok so i got bored, and went and took a saw's all to my exhaust and cut it behind the cat. and hollowed the cat out, then i thru the muffler back on there, and omfg! amazing sound, slightly better throttle response, and better power up hills without downshifting(with overdrive on).

So i highly recommend everyone do this. good free upgrade.

Does the exhaust smell horrible? Mine was terrible and I didn't want to risk the $10,000 fine so I put a high flow on (original cat was destroyed).

The cat law is a Federal Law. If you are ever in an accident or anything where the cops decide to be jerks, they can hit you with it on top of everything else. If you are at fault, sometimes they can be that way.

Your choice, just forewarning.

Say hi to your P0420 code for me when it inevitably pops up

My cat was hollowed out when I got my truck, and I threw a cherry bomb on it....love the sound of it! I get that code occasionally because of it but it goes away on its own after a while

i ended up doing this on my audi with a race pipe. I actually put a spacer on my post cat 02 sensor bung and it never gave me another 02 code again.

something to consider if you're worried about pulling codes

Whats the point of going through all the trouble of hollowing out your cat when you can just cut it off and install a y-pipe?
