I don't see a problem with his asking price personally (you have to start somewhere). Obviously his market is to someone who wants a plow on the truck. Go buy an identical truck, and have a plow put on. If you add the kbb suggested earlier + 4k in a relatively new plow your sitting at 11,500. Don't forget installation costs too. Sure this one is over priced, but with something like this someone is always going to talk you down. Knock 1500 off here, 500 off there, etc. Makes the buyer feel like he got a better deal and much more likely to go for it.

That said... would I buy that truck? Nope Lol

wrong time of year to sell a plow for that much. there is no longer any snow on the ground. no snow no use for a plow. why waste 14k now when you can waste it 8 months from now.

So... if he sells them separately he could get ~11k combined correct? Kbb does not ask enough information about the plow to be able to give a remotely accurate worth. So a name brand vs no name brand, power angle vs non power angle, poly plow vs steel plow, 7'6" plow vs. 8ft length plow (or bigger), straight blade vs V plow, switch style or hand held controller, 10 year old plow vs. 6 month old plow are all worth $700? Hahahahaha you gotta be kidding me. Bottom line is the kbb number for that plow is pure BS. If he got it in January, it is most likely still under warranty and that is a better selling point imho.
