I was just wondering how many of y'all are running aftermarket stereos and if so what brand/model? Mine is starting to go out on me and I have always been a big fan of Pioneer but I am up for anything.

I have all Rockford-Fosgate stuff. I love my system.

Just a quick look at my Faceplate and CD-changer.

pioneer head unit ,And it the clearest sounding stereo I have had/ installed to date. The model is deh-4200ub. I don't run a cd changer because I can hook my ipod directly. I have a 10" kicker sub run off a fosgate amp and pioneer speakers in stock location.

i had a Eclipse CD4000 55w 5vpreout headunit.....had it for 6 years, and it just let go on me....LOVED this headunit, pushed out good power to my subs and amp.....but it was $399 when i bought it 6 years ago....but thats circuit city for you...

now im running a crummy DUAL headunit....and it sucks....but it was cheap to get me by until i can get a good one, but the DUAL has a hard time pumping my subs.

I got a Jensen VM9214 7" flip out. I chose it because I wanted a flip out screen and it's was the cheapest I could find that would support an iPhone. It was 300. Also got an old sound stream amp and 2 10" kicker c10.

I hate aftermarket radios. The buttons are too tiny and I think they look tacky and out of place. But that's just me. My truck came with an aftermarket Pioneer unit. I took it out and replaced it with a stock radio from my mom's old Caravan. If anyone wants it, I'll sell it for $100. Comes with remote, case, and the mounting bracket. PM me if you're interested and I'll have the specific specs.

Thanks for all of the input, I am looking into ordering one off crutchfield. Pioneer seems to be the way to go still.

Mopar_Mike, how do you have that unit installed in your center console?
