Listing EVERYTHING you fixed does indeed make this truck look like it's going to have a LOT more issues, especially with almost 200,000 miles on it.

Shorten your ad, dwell on how well it runs, that the 4x4 system functions and that you've done ALL maintenance and replaced A LOT of normal wear and tear components. List the couple of problems it has (cracked dash, seat, etc.) so a prospective buyer isn't "shocked" when they come to look at the vehicle.

Your price is about $1500 over the going rate, but as they say "there is an a$$ for every seat"...

That is what a lot of people have been saying, I will do some editing and go from there, it's just I hate to see it go for soo little when I've invested soo much in it ya know?

The price is not totally out of line, especially if the 4x4 system works flawlessly.

But the list of replaced components WILL make people think it's at the age/mileage where it's gonna $300 dollar them to death (when I was younger, it was called $50 doller'ing you to death, but I don't think that figure is on par anymore, LOL).

So you dwell on the positives of the truck and then you mention these things you've had to replace as being "normal wear/tear items" that have been replaced by you. Makes people think you've kept up with it and they shouldn't have any issues, at least for a while.

Like I said, MENTION the few issues it has to prepare people for it, but don't dwell on them. I know if I look at a truck and expect it to be real clean and see the dash cracked, I'm gonna formulate an opinion right away. But if I'm prepared for it, I notice it and move on.

It's like anything else, it's all in the way you present what you are trying to sell.

Ok, well I took your advice and did some editing to the listing, do you think this is better and a fair price?
