I used to drive a tractor with tires that size, and it had all of 75 horsepower. It would cruise down the road at 25 mph without a strain, pulling a fully loaded grain wagon. Now, it was a scary experience going that fast on a tractor...... and the ride wasn't what I would really consider comfortable either.... but, it was certainly doable.

 

I don't think it's a waste of a truck. That thing is a play toy, not a dd.
One day I'm going to get a beater truck like a Tacoma, Jeep or Durango and make it a trail truck and I'm sure people on forums dedicated to those vehicles would think it's a waste too but it sure will be fun at Uwharrie.

 

That would be a dream of mine as well...and old Toyota or Nissan (doorless and bedless?) to squeeze through those tight 4.5 trails. Or a doorless Cherkoee with an exocage.
The guys at Pirate and PS will dig it.

The Dodge...it's a Toy for mud, built just like boggers build 'em. Many of them "don't get" purty dd type trucks either...just sayin'!
