One of the advantages of being old I guess. I insure two vehicles, plus renters insurance for 150 a month.... (min coverage on the vehicles.) Now, if my daughter didn't live here, it would be even cheaper, she tends to back into folks, and that gets friggin' expensive. A little door ding is gonna be 1600 bucks to repair..... Which my insurance gets to pay, as the other vehicle was legally parked. This is her second go-round with this type of incident.....

The trick is to get all of your tickets out of the way within the first year or 2 of having a license. I think I was averaging around 5 a year. But now I'm 26 and paying under $300 a month to insure 2 sport cars.

At one point, I had 23 points on my license..... (yeah, they suspend at 12..... I took a brief vacation there for a bit....) But, I drove 40 miles one way to work, and had an 83 Trans Am, that was Arrest-me-first Red.......

I have this terrible disease, when I have a steering wheel in front of me, my right foot turns into neutronium.
