whats up guys, i may sound like an idiot on this, but i crawled under my truck today so i could take my spare off and use the space under the bed. i couldnt tell what actually holds the tire up, like is it some sort of nut or what? mine was so rusted i cant even tell wtf it is to take it off..

It's a winch. Look between the bottom of the tailgate and the bumper and you'll see a hex shaped hole. Get the pouch with the lug wrench in it. Directions are inside.
