Hey guys,

So I was looking for hitches on eBay. I found a decent one at a good price. I have a roll pan on my truck so iv been looking for a roll pan compatable hitch. I asked the guy in the email, "will this hitch work with a roll pan"? He promptly responses with, "I don't know what a roll pan is". When I read this I couldn't believe it. This guy shouldn't be selling products like this if they don't know what a simple roll Pan is.

 

I didn't know what it was until I just looked it up.

 

Don't buy a hitch from E-Bay or don't buy from E-Bay seller XXXXX?

Sounds like the latter and that you're making a mountain out of a desert.

 

Sorry yeah from that seller. I guess I should have made a more specific title.

 

this is why you need to do your own research. if the guy does not have a brand and part number listed then it would be the sellers fault but if that info is there it is your job to look it up on the web to see if it will fit your truck.

 

I dont think theres anything wrong with him not knowing what a roll pan is, I know mechanics that wouldnt know what they are called, yeah they have seen them before but dont care about what its called

 

Yeah I thought about that. Bit this particular person is selling them through a eBay store. They have a bunch listed. That's why I was surprised that they didn't know what it was. Although, I am glad they admitted it.
