You have a selection of cops with a hard-on for you. You can figger that ANYTHING you do that is even REMOTELY out of line, there will be a cop right there handy to give you a ticket for it....... Your only alternative is to drive like the proverbial little old lady from Pasadena for a while, until the cops viagra for you wears off. You can dispute the ticket, but, I don't know how much success you will have.....

On a side note, now they are trying to limit acceleration rates? Holy crap.

Texas Tint Law Enacted: 2003
HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN TEXAS?

Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Texas, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.
Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Front Side Windows Must allow more than 25% of light in. Back Side Windows Must allow more than 25% of light in. Rear Window Any darkness can be used. HOW REFLECTIVE CAN THE TINT BE IN TEXAS?

Similar to sunglass lenses, some tinting film contain metallic elements that help in reflecting incoming light and reducing the glare and heat generated by visible light.
Front Side Windows Must not be more than 25% reflective. Back Side Windows Must not be more than 25% reflective. OTHER TEXAS RULES AND REGULATIONS
Restricted Colors The tint color(s) of RED BLUE AMBER are not legal by state law. Side Mirrors Dual side mirrors are required if back window is tinted. Certificate Requirements Manufacturers of film need to certify the film they sell in the state. Ask your dealer if they are using ceritified film. Sticker Requirements The sticker to identify legal tinting is required between the film & glass on the driver’s side window. Medical Exemption State allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.

This may help you realize your tint is illegal. In California they can scratch your tint if it is illegal be glad you live in Texassucks

I don't know about the laws in Texas but if you got that in Florida I would tell you to just lawyer up now. In FL they will screw you HARD for anything that has to do with street racing. Two of my buddies were riding sportbikes and took off from a light "too fast" per the officer and also said they were drag racing. Never broke the speed limit. Both got huge fines, community service, etc. If you've ever ridden a sportbike you know even taking off lightly you will leave the average car in the dust. My gsxr hits 60 in about 3 seconds and 100 in under 6.

My little ol 750 only does 87 in 1st lol. It's BS but you've got to prove your innocent- with something like that I wouldn't take a chance without a lawyer. I got lucky last time I got a "racing on highways" ticket was before they changed the laws in FL and the officer wrote me up for the wrong infraction- so when I went to court I just showed the judge the actual ticket written and she let me go with a $78 fine and no points . That was about 11 years ago though.

Why can they do it and you can't? Because there 1st responders. Why are you fighting so hard to justify why you shouldn't be ticketed. I can see why you're getting pinched left and right.
Now as far as them cutting in front of you and you wanting to speed up to cause an accident. Well, do that and I can assure you that even in the off chance that you are awarded a judgement in your favor, they will have the last laugh. You might as well get a hold of your ankles because your gonna be getting screwed left and right.
I'm not trying to come off as a *****, but you have to understand how your posts are coming off. Either way. I hope your just blowing off steam right now because I would hate for this to escalate between you and the cops. Might as well let lying dogs sleep.

Sell the truck, and buy a Prius. Only solution I can think of that will keep you from in front of the blueberries and cherries.

You won't win messing with the long arm of the law. J415 nailed it.

If you were a cop, would you follow the soccer mom in the Caravan, or would you keep your eyes out for the cocky kid driving too big of a truck that will most likely do something reckless to show off?

It's bad enough younger drivers are already easy targets. Standing out above the rest with a big truck and "rolling" a black smoke trail turns you into an easy ticket.

Not trying to be mean or a jerk, but take this as constructive criticism. If you don't change your driving habits now, your wallet will be the only thing hurting in the long run.
