Default newb here

Hey everyone, my neme is Wes and I own a 1996 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.2. I could use some help getting my truck the way I want. Like now I want to put a lift kit to have the truck sit 3'' taller than stock and im having trouble finding something that will work.

welcome to the site. there are some chrome valve covers for sale right now in the classifieds for the 318.

not sure what lifts are out there for the 2nd gens but im sure someone else can help out on that.

Welcome to DF!


There are multiple ways to lift these trucks.
4WD is easier than 2WD.
You can use add-a-leaves, coil spacers, longer coils, stock CUMMINS diesel coils....just take your pick.
Like I said, 4WD is easier than 2WD, so we need more details regarding the truck.
Fill out your sig with the truck's info, so that way you don't have to type everything whenever you come on here for a problem or something. lol
