wellits been about two months since i posted.....things went from bad to great in that time...

first off i took my truck to get inspected...and it was an epic fail...

failed for...

-frame rot at front of frame..two holes the size of a baseball.
-sway bar end links
-front brake lines, and 1 rear brake line
-pass. side upper and lower ball joints
-rear shocks
-inner tie rod end at pitman arm
-outter tie rod end on pass. side
-exhaust leaks
-piece of control arm braket rusted through
-rear u-joint
-pass.front u-joint



well i fixed her right up, and shes now stickered till 9/2012...running great...

and i got the job at Bath Iron Works after a 9 week process....my job rules, i work maybe 1/2-1 hour during my 8 hour shift and get paid $20/hr for all 8 hours...the rest of the time your talking to people...its awesome...every benifit there is, on weekends i can work over time for time and a half on sat. and double time on sundays....working for the union is awesome lol.....but ive been busy workin, not much internet time...get up at 4am....and get home at 5pm every day.....its an hour and 15 mins from my house to work one way, but i pay $40 a week and get a ride to and from work with a commuter van with other employees...

these are Navy battleships that im working on and monday im starting my welding classes to get government certified and get a raise...F*****G awesome job...

Congrats on the truck comeback and the job!! In your absence I used your DIY for the wheel hub and ujoint replacement. lol Awesome to hear of an ecstatic tone on a job as that is....rare these days (i think).

On a side note: Next spring we both need to change our sig pics for the season. I get chills and bad thoughts every time I look at yours or mine. LOL
