v 10 seems to lack power, mash down the throttle will not break tires loose, running 35" with 3.55 automatic, full tune up done, new cats and exhaust, no check engine light or codes, mpg's are 10 city and 14 hwy, any suggestions?

I have 35's on my v10 and it wouldn't smoke the tires at all. Swapped in some 4.56 gears and it will go sideways if I want it too LOL. Mine has pretty much everything new on it, so it was definitely the gears that made the difference. The 3.55 gears suck .

i figured the v10 would have been torquier than that, it couldn't even do it with stock 265/75/16's on , mind you it has limited slip and i agree 3.55's aren't a desirable ratio, has your gas mileage sufferd with the 4.56's , considering the mileage is not great to start of with

My around town mileage has been a little better than with the 3.55's. I haven't finished breaking in the new gear set so I can't comment on highway mileage.

Yeah only thing I could think of would be lower gears. Good luck though!
