I dream about this scenario everyday, lol! I would get rid of rust spots, put some heavy axles under it with electronic lockers and, put either a 5.7 hemi, 8.0 v10, or cummins in it (hard decision...) thats built of coaurse, 6 speed tranny, longhorn laramie interior, ranch hand bumpers that fit a sport chrome grille diamond plate rocker pannels, cab lights, winch, extend my extended cab lol, mickey thompson classic lock II rims and probly jus 35's so i can tow my new 5th wheel horse trailer.. i could go on but thats good for now

 

2007 QCLB 5.9 Cummins. 6 spd, 4x4. 3 inch suspension, 35" Duratracs on 17" XD Diesels, Herd Bumper, Recon Head/Tail lights. ARB air locker in back, with 4.56 gears. Red in color, or dark blue, with black rhino lined rocker panels. Matched tint all around, towing mirrors.........I could do this all day. If only...

take a pre 03 HD sporty put a 103 s&s engine with a baker 6 speed in it and make it into a street tracker with a mix of storz and phil little parts.
an last but not least, pay someone else to do the work for me! except maybe the sporty, that would be a side project for me.

But really, i'd probably go with a perfectly restored macho power wagon, in blue and apricot, with a mean little 340. Also involved would be a 4 speed, front sway bar, oil cooler. Kind of halfway between the macho and rob hall truck.
