Front Coil Springs Help?!?!?
Lolz!! Indeed. I would presume the harsh winters of NH really wreaked some corrosion product or something else.
Are you plowing with this truck? Just a daily driver? Towing or anything? This would help you determine what spring type.

Coil springs DO break.... Just very rare.... Constant rate springs require the same amount of pressure to compress each inch. It's linear. If you have a 200 pound spring, it takes 200 bound to compress 1 inch, 400 for 2", etc. Variable rate will require less pressure initially, up to a point.... and then pressure required will increase. Variable rate springs make for a better ride.
yeah they broke and i dont know i dont do off-roading with this one i have another truck for that just a lot of rust and crap i guess and this truck is my tow rig i previously snapped the rear springs as well.
so in essence the lift will fit either the variable or constant rate srping its just a vary of load pressures the spring could handle
