Weren't you talking about possibly buying a cheap V 10 ram with a bad axle, or was that someone else? I'd think that could be your pull rig there. I don't see how a 5.9 or 5.2 could hang with a big block or a turbo diesel...but what the hell, you only live once I guess. The last tractor pull I went to, a guy pulled out there with a nice Ford 3/4 ton with the window sticker on it and immediately lost his drive shaft. I chuckled and drove home in my 13 year old, paid for truck. Lol.

Never been to an official truck pull but have hooked my strap up to other trucks, never broke nothing but I think Im just lucky sh^ts gonna break regardless what you do, just be ready to fix it when it does and always look at it as a learning experience regardless if it breaks.

Take it easy and dont slam on the gas, if it starts hopping and going backwards let off and give in to defeat,

ive done it a few times with my 6.0 but after that i steered in to a hole new direction and mobed it for the strip
