Default Good A/T tires?

I'm new to the forum here but i was wondering if i could get some help choosing the right tires. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I have a 98 2500 with the magnum v8, its got a small lift and I'm runnin 35 x 12.50s on it currently. My tires are bald as hell and i need to buy some new ones asap as the winters coming up but not sure which route to go. I do some mild off roading but I'm in college and will have to drive the truck from New York to North Carolina and vise versa a couple times a year so I'm looking for an all terrain tire thats decent off road but at the same time has good tread life. Definitely going with 35s again. Not gonna cheap out but don't wanna have to break the bank either. Anyone know of decent tires that'll fit my needs? Much appreciated.

You will get different replies from everyone so here's mine. I would go with either BFG All-Terrain KO's or the new Goodyear DuraTracs.

I don't know your budget or how you feel about retreads but cheap them out. https://www.treadwright.com/

I'm running 265/75/16 in guard dog and am starting my second winter and will get another set when they wear out.

I'm personally going to get the treadwright wardens before winter is in full force here, but I would definitely recommend the Duratrac's if you can afford them.

don't have any experience with retreads looks like that could be an option though, i found some 315/75/16 nitto dune grapplers for 230 a tire which isn't bad. I know there desert terrain but i had buddy who ran them and they bit like a **** in the snow I'm just worried about tread life.

From what i have heard from people i would go with the bfg all terrain k/o.
i also have a question though i found an add on craiglist that has 32x12.5x15 tire on rims from a 97 wrangler and wondering if the the tires and rims would fit on my 99 ram 1500 4x4 (no lift)

I think I have seen something on here about wheel interchangability, but not 100% certain. You may want to do a search and see. If not, you may have to go look and try one on....

No they wont fit. Wrangler rims are 5x4.5 and rams are 5x5.5. Also if i remember correctly the smallest rim you can use is a 16 inch.

I was looking around through the 3rd Gen forum yesterday and some of them like the Cooper Discoverer A/T3
