So my truck has the 5.2L 318. I mat it to the floor and it does not take off usually you hear the rpms kind of drop for a slight second then speed increases a bit then it shifts and you take off. I was wondering what I was looking at for why my truck is running like this. Is there some type of sensor for the problem im having?

 

Check TPS, and fuel pressure.
